When sending a notification, the selecting of recipients is now much clearer and easier via an update to its user interface. It’s also quicker to select the recipients, thanks to some behind-the-scenes performance enhancements.
When sending a notification, offline staff can now be selected to receive the notifications that have been sent to them. When the offline staff return ‘online’ and log-onto their device, they will receive the notifications that have been sent over the past 48 hours. This is particularly useful for helping staff coming back from holiday, for example, to catch-up on or be reminded of any messages that were sent whilst they were away.
In the History view, the sender’s machine name and IP address are included in the details recorded for ‘emergency response’ type notifications (sent via a hotkey combination). For a standard notification, the IP address of the sender will also now be included in the History view.
When sending a notification, instead of defaulting to the server option, NetSupport Notify will now remember the last chosen option (e.g. departments) and automatically select it for you. You can also set the default ‘Sent to’ method as department or server.
When receiving a notification, at the bottom, it will now include the sender’s name. This is handy for better understanding the nature of the message and its urgency. However, this can be turned off, and so notifications can also be sent anonymously.
You can now see the list of recipients for an existing scheduled notification – perfect for checking if anyone needs adding or removing from it.

ADManager Plus build 7250 is live now! Here is the list of enhancements;
1. ADManager Plus now supports automatically adding managers as reviewers and approvers.
2. The Security Reports comes with built-in options to group data by objects or permissions.
3. AD Explorer now shows direct, inherited, and delegated AD security permissions under Delegated Permissions, and DFS permissions in the File System Permissions tab.
4. The Orchestration Template now provides an option to add a time delay in seconds, minutes, hours, or days between two consecutive actions.
5. Microsoft 365 User Logon Reports now let you exclude active AD users from the Inactive Users report and add AD attribute columns to both the Users Last Logon and Inactive Users reports.

We are sharing an important update on Microsoft's mandatory multi-factor authentication (MFA) for Entra ID (formerly known as Azure AD).
Effective October 15, 2024, Microsoft had enforced MFA for all users and administrators accessing certain applications. We want to reassure you that ManageEngine ADManager Plus is not impacted by this MFA requirement. The applications specified by Microsoft are not used for any ADManager Plus functions, so no immediate action is needed on your part. Read more here
Password synchronization for Microsoft 365/Azure and Microsoft Dynamics CRM using OAuth Client Credentials is enabled in the ADSelfService Plus build 6505.
• Password sync can be implemented with the application account having global administrator permission; this is done by providing client credentials for authorization.
This release is happening in alignment with the Multi-Factor Authentication mandate by Microsoft.
